KamaGames hoping to be dealt a winner with 3D baccarat game Baccarist

  • New app aims to popularise Bond’s classic table game online
  • KamaGames building single login games network

KamaGames, the company behind Manchester United’s online social casino and a range of games for mobile and smart TVs, has announced the launch of Baccarist. This all-new 3D baccarat is the latest addition to their social casino portfolio.

KamaGames is aiming to bring the thrill of casino baccarat to mobile

KamaGames has had success in this field in the past, producing Pokerist Texas Poker, which was named one of the Best Apps by Apple and hit the top five of Google Play Grossing Apps in 24 countries. The company hopes to repeat this success with baccarat, the popular casino game which was famously James Bond’s game of choice. Though associated with style and sophistication, this game (also known as Punto Banco) is often not as widely recognised as roulette. The new app could change that and give baccarat some untapped online attention.

Baccarist has been developed with the input of professional consultants from Macau with the hope of being a real benchmark title for mobile. With that in mind, Baccarist is built using Unity 5, which allows for 3D graphics and various social features such as daily bonuses, daily quests and achievements. The game will also sync with other KamaGames offerings, using a single login system across all titles.

Research to bring baccarat look and feel online

“KamaGames is committed to expanding its playing audience across the world with a dedicated focus on the emerging and Asian markets. We aim to achieve that by boosting our product offering and rolling out four to five new games in 2017. Baccarat is an extremely popular card game, and one of the bigger challenges was to rebuild that social hype that is happening in real-life. By working closely with professional baccarat consultants from Macau to create the most realistic game possible, we are confident that Baccarist will be well-received by players around the world.”
Andrey Kuznetsov, KamaGames Dublin managing director

These claims are yet to be backed up by statistics, but the expanding KamaGames portfolio does show promise, as the industry as a whole seeks a larger ‘mind share’ of the mobile gaming market. Baccarist will be available via the iOS app store and Google Play.
