After the fantastic Q2 revenues for Evolution Gaming Casino, they finally announced that their New Jersey live casino studio is set for launch within two months. It will start with 10 tables which will be just the first part of the company’s growth plans for North America. For the first financial half, Evolution’s operating revenues rose by 35% to €110m ($128m) while the EBITDA went up to €48m.
Increased number of customers for Evolution Gaming Casino based casinos like BGO and Casumo meant that the software provider is indeed doing something right. All of that led to real progress in New Jersey where they recently signed customer deals with 888, Oceans Resort Casino, and Resorts Casino Hotel. The studio in New Jersey is set to go live by the end of the third quarter and it will start with 10 tables. Live American Roulette, Three Card Poker, Slingshot Auto Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em will be the first operators.
According to Martin Carlesund, Evolution’s chief executive, more tables will come with time which will also include dedicated tables for certain operators. He also added that Evolution Gaming Casino has been getting an increased request for tables and they are expecting for more than 500 to be in operation before the year is over. Casinos like Rizk and Dunder who have a lot of Evolution games will certainly be happy with how things are turning out.
Carlesund also stated that: “We are continuing to deliver on our ongoing mission to continuously extend the gap between us and our competitors.” One way they will do that is by properly preparing for the imminent regulatory changes in Sweden. Last but not least, Carlesund claimed the company is looking forward to those changes and that they are happy to work with current and new Swedish customers.
