|Symbols||Classic slot symbols, aircraft|
The slot deliberately features primitive graphics, as a throwback to the glory days of one-armed bandit slot gaming. Unlike other classic slots, Sonic Boom has a nifty special feature worked into its design: wild symbols.
Look and feel
Like many classic slots developed by Microgaming, Sonic Boom doesn’t have too many thematic symbols present. As a matter of fact, the only thematic symbols in this game are the aircraft and Sonic Boom logo.
The remaining symbols which appear in the Sonic Boom slot are classic slot imagery. These include legendary icons such as cherries, single, double and triple bars. Newbies should have no problem adjusted to the level of gameplay on offer in Sonic Boom.
Players will note that Sonic Boom is played in a true classic slot format, and that means there is but a single payline over the game’s 3 reels. Coin denominations range from 5p up to £5, with players able to bet either 1 or 2 coins per spin. As you can imagine, this makes Sonic Boom quite cheap to play, with wagers stemming from just 5p per spin, up to no more than £10 per spin.
Sonic Boom comes with a non-progressive jackpot which is capped at 2,500 coins. To win that prize, players are required to land 3 Sonic Boom logos on the game’s singular payline with a 2-coin bet. Doing so with a single coin bet will only result in a cash prize of 1,200 coins being paid out.
The Sonic Boom logo does more than simply offer a jackpot. The symbol can also be used as a wild icon. Wild symbols can substitute for all other symbols in the game, and landing one of them in a winning combination will double the value of that combo. Bagging two of them in a winning combination will quadruple the value of your win.
