|Symbols||Pink Panther characters|
The Pink Panther was one of Playtech’s first branded progressive jackpot slots, outside of the Marvel range, which has since been discontinued.
The Pink Panther is, of course, based on the famous 1960s films, with Peter Sellars starring as Inspector Clouseau.
The slot machine game contains two progressive jackpots – Minor and Major Pink prizes – and plenty of other special features for players to enjoy.
Look and feel
Everything you would associate with the Pink Panther can be found in this slot, including Pink himself, as well as buckets of pink paint, cannon balls, looking glasses, and Pink Panther logos.
All your favourite characters also crop up in this slot machine game, which features 4 symbols on each of the game’s 5 reels. Even from an audio perspective, there is plenty to enjoy from Playtech’s Pink Panther slot machine.
The Pink Panther contains a total of 5 reels and 40 paylines. Players are going to find that this slot is considerably more customisable than other progressives when it comes to wagers.
Players can adjust the value of their coin and the number of lines they wish to play with so that they will ultimately end up wagering between 1p per line per spin, and £2,000 per spin. Obviously, the more you wager per spin, the better your chances of landing one of the jackpots.
There is an RTP (return to player) rate of 95.9% in this slot machine, but of course, that doesn’t apply to the progressive jackpots which are randomly triggered.
The Pink Panther himself acts as a wild symbol in this slot, whilst the paw print appears as a scatter icon. Now, here’s the funny part – all other bonus features are triggered entirely at random. The Pink Pow bonus can offer players between 2 and 6 random wilds, whilst the Crack the Pink Code bonus allows the player to open safes until he discovers dynamite.
In each safe will either be free spins, multipliers or expanding wilds. A very petite free spins bonus game will commence after that.
The Colour Pink bonus offers players the chance to paint a fence, with the numbers which appear on the fence adding themselves together before being multiplied by your total bet to give you an instant cash prize, which you can either accept or reject.
The Wheel of Pink bonus offers a money wheel bonus, whilst the Pink Trail bonus promises a trail game with an instant cash prize and multipliers.
Lastly, the Jackpot Adventure triggers one of two progressives. Players must work their way through doors to land 5 panthers (pays out the Major Pink prize), 5 inspectors (coughs up the Minor Pink prize), or 3 Little Men (offers a consolation prize).
