Batman & the Joker Jewels is a progressive slot game from Playtech that can be played as both a regular slot and as a progressive jackpot game. The game is part of the new Batman slot series that was licensed by Warner Bros and designed to replace the Marvel Comics progressive games in the Playtech catalogue.
Batman & the Joker Jewel uses symbols from the live action Batman TV show of the 60s and focuses on the Joker as played by Cesar Romero. Other slots from the Batman slot line focus on other notable villains or members of Batman’s team.
Look and feel
Batman & the Joker Jewels features a standard 5-reel layout with 3 rows of symbols and 25 paylines. It is filled with graphics from the TV series but also sound samples that pop up when you trigger some notable wins. And just like other slots from the same series, this game is played to the sound of an authentic soundtrack inspired by the classic TV show.
The highest paying symbols in the game are the two Joker and Batman Wilds, followed by the Batman, the Joker, and Robin. There are also 5 lower paying symbols which are props used by the Batman and Joker like the Batarang or the Laughing Dental Prosthesis.
Batman and the Joker Wild has an estimated RTP of 95.01%. It’s a low-variance game with fixed paylines, i.e. you can only adjust your bet size but not how many numbers of paylines you want to play. The minimum bet is set at £0.25, or £0.01 per payline, while the maximum you can bet is £2,500. As Playtech says – the bigger your bet the bigger your shot of winning the game’s progressive jackpots will be.
Apart from the two wild symbols, the game also features a Bonus Scatter symbol that triggers the “unlimited” Batman Vs. The Joker Free Spins game. Before the free spins start, you have to choose whether you want to bet on the Batman or the Joker. If you bet on the Batman, each Batman Wild you collect will move the multiplier meter that can go up to 5x while each Joker Wild will turn down the meter by one spot. If the multiplier meter lands on the “end” position, the spins will come to an end.
Another bonus feature is the Joker Random Wild feature which is randomly triggered during the main game to add up to 9 Joker Wilds on the reels. The 4 progressive jackpots (Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand) are also triggered randomly during the main game. However, to win any of the four, you will have to play a game of pick-and-win first.
