Few slots are as funny as BetSoft Gaming’s Arrival. This slot machine is easily one of the developer’s best titles, and anybody who has seen the Tim Burton film, Mars Attacks, will know what to expect from this over-the-top slot about an alien encounter.
Arrival features top quality 3D graphics and is often regarded as one of the best paying BetSoft Gaming slot machines out there.
Look and feel
Arrival features an animated alien with a vast brain located at the bottom of the reels. He moves about the place causing havoc but doesn’t directly interact with the reels. Upon the reels, themselves, are a host of mysterious symbols, such as a macho astronaut, a damsel in distress, a spiky pink critter, white robots, planets, space stations and space marine corps badges. It is all very nutty stuff.
The most impressive thing about Arrival is that even though it was one of BetSoft Gaming’s earliest attempts at a proper 3D slot, the graphics in the game are arguably better than many of the developer’s later titles.
Players will find that Arrival contains just 15 paylines on its 5 reels, and players are free to select coin values which range from 2p up to 50p a pop with those coins. Players are at liberty to wager up to 5 coins per line, as well as adjust the number of lines they play with. This will give them a minimum wager of 2p per line per spin, and a maximum stake which is capped at £75 per spin.
There are no wild symbols appearing on the reels of this game, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t wilds at all. When 3 or more alien symbols appear on the reels, an Abduction Bonus is triggered. During this feature, a UFO will hover a reel and turn that entire reel wild, which issuing players with several free spins.
Also present are ray guns. Landing 3 ray guns on the reels will see players trigger a Click Me bonus, where they can select various UFOS to win cash prizes until a collect sign appears. Landing 3 or more of the girl symbols will trigger the Save the Girl Bonus. In this feature, the marine astronaut must use switches to release the girl from the holding rays and pocket an instant cash prize at the same time.
