Created by the award-winning Yggdrasil, its latest release has a 5×8 reelset, a unique first. Power Plant is designed to allow players to use portrait mode on their device thanks to new long reels and scrollable paytables while making the most of its dynamic gameplay and advanced graphics.

Power Plant features 8-stack wilds and feature-packed respins while also having a 96% payout rate (RTP).

One full wild 8-stack yields two features, two full wild 8-stacks give three features and three full wild 8-stacks offers the player four features to go at.

Compatible with iOS and Android handsets, Power Plant gives players the opportunity to become immersed in the game world as they try to win on any of 82 paylines.

Graphics aim to give immersive gameplay

With a new way of playing, Power Plant aims to give a whole new experience to players old and new. The feel is of a futuristic power plant control room with computers, wires and other instruments around a central power core on which the reels are placed. All of this is set against a futuristic electronic soundtrack.

Available from April 24, Power Plant is accessible in most languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Greek, Czech, Hungarian, Chinese, Russian, Japanese, Finnish and more.

Yggdrasil was named Slot Provider of the Year at the 2016 EGR awards and also Gaming Software Supplier of the Year at 2016’s International Gaming Awards and Power Plant is just the latest in a number of immersive game releases.

Yggdrasil are a relative newcomer to the slot game scene but with developments like this they are proving they know how to get noticed.

It is great to see innovations like this 8×5 reel set-up, which has the added bonus of being able to be played in portrait mode. This is real progress.

How the game suits players is another question, but this could be a template which other game developers copy in the near future.

This game lands on April 24.
