Videoslots is already well known for its vast array of slot games for its players, which stands at over 2,200 currently.

But it also tries to incorporate social and interactive elements to lift the playing experience from something that is purely solitary.

That award was off the back of a “One To Watch” award from Gaming Intelligence for its innovations like its Battle of the Slots social gaming tournaments and the purchase of technology from the now defunct PKR website which it plans to use to enhance the user experience still further.

Videoslots spotted its chance

In giving its award Gaming Intelligence said Videoslots had gone from a “minor industry player to a company that made significant gains in 2017” and one that had found “faults in established industry wisdom and pursued an alternative path”.

Alexander Stevendahl, Videoslots CEO, said: “When we formed we knew the online casino industry could offer a far more engaging product to customers, and we’ve done all we can to introduce new features, the best slots and the most passionate people behind the scenes to do so.

“Being recognised by our industry peers is a fantastic honour and we’ll proudly show off these awards in our office, but with the customer remaining our sole focus, we won’t stop there and will continue improving our service however we can.”

Videoslots continues to grow

The online casino, which prides itself on its customer support and sheer choice of games, is expected to push on further in the market in 2018.

It remains to be seen how the PKR technology will be used, but the former poker room, which closed in 2017, was known for its 3D online casino experience with avatars of player characters adding to the social feel.
