Silver Heritage confirm its casino at Tiger Palace Resort set to open late November
- The Casino in Bhairahawa, Nepal, is due to open 30th November with hotel operations starting a couple of months earlier
- The resort is on budget and cost $19 million Australian dollars
Asian casino operator Silver Heritage Group have announced that their latest casino venture in the Tiger Palace Resort in Bhairahawa will officially open its doors on the 30th November with the hotel and hospitality operation getting underway from the 30th September.
The Group are behind ‘The Millionaire’s Club & Casino’ in Kathmandu at the Shangri La Hotel & Resort and the Phoenix International Club in Vietnam and are now well on track and budget with their third project.
What can visitors expect?
The casino at Tiger Palace Resort is set to boast 52 tables and 200 slots and will be the groups biggest casino operation.
Visitors will be expected to flock to the site as the resort is well located close to the Nepal/India boarder and a short 15-minute drive from Bhairahawa Airport.
The City has a population of 70,000 but it is expected the opening will heavily increase visitors to the area and help state income.
Strong financial results playing their part
The Tiger Palace casino resort project is well on track and budget and this is helped by the strong performance of the groups other two sites.
During the first six months of the year, the group saw a 7% revenue increase with their Phoenix club in Vietnam the bettor performer.
The Vietnam resort, reported a US$2.35m Net Profit for the group with generated revenues of US $11.08m up by 41%.
The group have highlighted this success by launching VIP Direct Play Room which house three live dealer tables at the Phoenix site in Vietnam which also boasts 15 tables and 94 Electronic gaming machines.
All set for November
Everything appears to running smoothly for the Silver Heritage Group with a spokesperson for the group saying:
“Tiger Palace Resort Bhairahawa is on schedule – being 30 September 2017 for Hotel and Hospitality and 30 November 2017 for the Casino; and remains on budget. Tiger Palace Resort Bhairahawa is fully funded following the Entitlement Offer which raised A$19m.”
Avoiding any last minute disasters it looks like an exciting time for the Nepal Casino market with more regulated offerings only a good thing for the local economy.
