- New Deal or No Deal scratch card is part of the Jackpot King progressive jackpot system
- Offers players simple scratching fun combined with bumper progressive payouts
You’ve heard of progressive jackpot slot machines, but how about scratch cards? If you’ve yet to have the pleasure, allow Blueprint Gaming’s (BG) Deal or No Deal card to be your first.
The jackpot operates just like that of an online slot, rising the more it’s played until finally someone scoops the prize and walks away six or seven figures richer.
Scratch and win
The online scratch card, which joins BG’s suite of linked progressive slots, is based on the hit TV gameshow that’s proven to be tailor-made for online casinos. The scratch game involves 22 boxes, each containing a different prize and, unlike scratch cards you’re used to, you can do the scratching on your desktop or handheld device.
And while not the first scratch card to be available online, it certainly ups the ante in terms of realism and accurate ‘scratching’. Beneath each prize that’s displayed, a series of grey squares reveals the number of boxes containing that number which must be opened in order to win a prize. To win £25,000 for example you might need to open five boxes containing that sum.
The game is available at sites such as Sky Vegas Casino, whose Jackpot King system currently stands at £2.6 million*. Players can set a stake of between £1 and £20 per game before seeing if they can triumph from one of the following features: Mystery Cash Win, Free Games, Deal or No Deal and Jackpot King. To land the grandest prize of all, five matching Jackpot King symbols must be landed in a row.

Games like Naked Gun, Count Duckula and Cupid Wild at Heart will soon be added to Blueprint’s progressive jackpot system, complementing The Pig Wizard which was recently relaunched in HTML5 for the benefit of mobile players.
Genie Jackpot will also be added as Blueprint seek to offer players a greater selection of progressive games to choose from.
Genie Jackpot is an obvious candidate for being added to the Jackpot King system, having proven successful as a standalone title, with players particularly enamoured with its bonus games. Blueprint’s progressive system has already proven its worth, for it was just over a month ago that one lucky player won £3.1 million from a 20p stake while playing The Pig Wizard at Sky Vegas.
Everyone loves a scratch card, right? There’s something incredibly satisfying about the scratching motion, and the slow reveal of a possible prize beneath. How does that translate to playing online? In the case of Deal or No Deal it does it well. Blueprint Gaming has managed to catch a great deal of realism in its new progressive jackpot game that, after a few spins, really makes it feel like you’re playing a real scratch card. There’s been a lot said about developers, and online casinos, looking to expand their offering to players recently and it makes sense. Casino fans are changing – a new generation of players is coming through, people want to play differently and (maybe) Deal or No Deal fans are getting in on the action. The new scratch card is a new way of winning a progressive jackpot that is fast, fun and not too difficult to understand as you can jump right into the action. The fact that there is a jackpot that’s currently upward of £2 million should also be an added incentive to get you playing too!
