Hitler, Stalin, Saddam and Kim Jong-un: Does new ‘Dictator’ slot push it too far?

  • New Betsense game features a rather unorthodox topic, featuring notorious past and present dictators
  • Controversial game includes ability to shoot various leaders, and features North Korean nukes bonus game

Over the years, we’ve seen slots featuring all sorts of themes and ideas, but the latest Betsense slot named Dictator really takes the cake.

The Dictator slot by BetSense. Controversy awaits.

This game features a number of famous historical figures (some still living), whose leadership ‘skills’ and political approaches earned them a ‘dictator’ prefix.

The game brings together all of our favorite notorious political leaders, from Napoleon and Castro, to Hitler, Kim Jong-Un, Saddam Hussein, Muammar Gadaffi, Stalin, Mao Zedong, and other colorful characters.

If you’re asking why anyone would make a slot like this, it’s hard to see it being anything other than a design to court controversy.

It’s fair to say the Georgian developer has demonstrated a rather out-of-the box approach with this game.

Of course, if they had wanted to be really controversial, they might have thrown a Trump or Putin in there.

Not your everyday slot

The Dictator slot features 20 paylines, which pay both ways.

There is a free spins round and a bonus feature, so on the surface, it seems like just another casino game.

However, all the symbols in this slot, from portraits of notorious dictators to weapons such as machine guns, canons, medals, and ballistic missiles indicate Dictator is anything but ordinary.

It is clearly not meant to be taken seriously, and for those who love a good old despot joke, the Dictator will probably provide plenty of laughs.

Hilarious bonus features

The free spins round is triggered by landing three or more Napoleon scatters anywhere on the reels. Players can get 5, 10, or 15 spins, and there doesn’t seem to be any special about free spins, apart from the fact you aren’t paying to spin the reels.

However, the other bonus round, triggered by three Hitler bonus symbols is a different story.

The bonus contains two rounds. In the first one, you’ll get to pick your favorite dictators to shoot, with every successful shot paying out a certain multiplier on your bet.

In the second round, you get to pick one of three North Korean nuclear missiles, and if you pick the right one, you’ll get paid.

There is also the wild symbol, substituting for all symbols except for scatters and bonus symbols, represented by Colonel Gadaffi.

Where you can play

There is no denying Dictator is an unorthodox slot that aims to shock and entertain at the same time.

It’s unlikely to see a slot like this coming out of any of the real big slot developers – this is something that is the preserve of the smaller operation.

The game is still not available at online casinos yet – the question will be which operators will be happy to serve the game to its players.
