FIVE surefire ways to get thrown out of a casino

Casinos can very particular about who they let in and how they treat their customers. Cash helps, of course.

If you want to go to any respectable casino and stay there, especially in Las Vegas, you will want to avoid doing anything stupid.

Here are the top five things you can do that might get you kicked out of a casino. Remember, these are not things to try, but to avoid.

Cheating

Cheating is obviously a classic reason for which a casino will throw you out. Whether you are flat out cheating, stealing chips off the tables or counting cards at blackjack, the casinos will not look kindly on this.

Remember that there is an eye in the sky watching over every little piece of the casino, and the guys doing the surveillance are very good.

You are extremely unlikely to get away with cheating, and you will be asked to leave even if they catch you advantage playing or counting cards.

Insulting players and staff

While the casino may stay out of two players arguing at times, you will not be allowed to throw insults around the floor, yell at others or swear at either players or the staff.

You may get a warning or two before you are asked to leave, but the casinos want to keep the games friendly, and the last thing they need is you scaring away their customers. Remain civilized!

Getting too drunk

Don’t get us wrong, the casinos absolutely want you to enjoy a glass or two to drink, often on the house, thanks to your continued wagering at the tables.

On the other hand, if you get wasted and start being rude and unstable, they may well ask you to leave.

True, you may even get away with it, but in many cases, if you are too drunk to sit up straight, you are probably too drunk to place bets as well, and the casino has little use for you.

Not to mention it is the law for them to remove you if you are too drunk. So if you are liable to get tipsy, then introduce yourself to that old friend, the glass of water or soda for a while.

Winning too much

When he was campaigning to be US President, Donald Trump said that the country would eventually get tired of winning if he got into the White House. Well, casinos can also become tired of its patrons having too much success.

While the casinos normally don’t mind you winning some money, if you win too much and you keep winning consistently at table games or slots, they might ask you not to visit anymore. And believe it or not, they are within their rights to do so.

In some cases the floor staff might think you are cheating while in others it can come down to plain superstition, or just having a hunch you are somehow getting one over on the house.

In either case, if you hit casino’s coffers hard, don’t be surprised if they kick you out.

“Unusual” play

While you may not be a cheater, the casinos can’t really know that. If you change your betting patterns to absurd lengths, going from betting a few dollars to hundreds and back, they might think you are cheating in some way.

Try to avoid making your betting patterns too unusual, and the casinos won’t notice you. If you are (legally) trying to pull something, try to be smart about it!
