  • Innovative Dream Catcher game now available to play on range of online casinos
  • Dream Catcher is the first in a new-game category for developer Evolution Gaming
  • Live dealer interacts with players throughout in a Roulette style wheel game

Evolution Gaming’s Dream Catcher Lucky Wheel Live has now been launched across a host of online casino sites finally bringing the interactive game access to the competitive market.

s a way of bringing the live casino experience to those who don’t normally play table games like blackjack and roulette.

The live dealer-style interaction gives the game a unique feel, played very much like roulette, the player places their bet on the number they think the wheel will stop on (think the Wheel of Fortune gameshow) with the options ranging from 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 or 40.

Payout odds correspond to the winning number: e.g. number 5 pays 5-1, number 10 pays 10-1, and so on.

The idea behind the game

First revealed in February of this year at the International Casino Exhibition (ICE) in London, Evolution Gaming’s chief product officer Todd Haushalter said: “This is a momentous launch for us because Dream Catcher will expose live casino to players who don’t play table games and therefore don’t play live casino”.

Making the game accessible to the majority has been a core focus for Evolution Gaming in this unique interactive experience which boasts a live 24/7 host who plays the role of what feels like a game show host.

It is also available across a range of devices, including desktop and smartphone.

Familiar names pick up dream catcher

Although Dream Catcher Lucky Wheel Live has only been available to play for a matter of days, already the game appears to be a hit.

Relatively young but fast-growing casino company Casumo has picked up the game and added it to their roster of offerings. But they are not the only ones.

UK based Grosvenor Casinos also offer the game on their online platform; the company boasts 55 sites across the United Kingdom with expansion ever on the horizon.

As expected Mecca Bingo also offers the game on their interactive online platform, with both Grosvenor and Mecca operated by Rank Group, the large UK gambling firm.

However, it is not just in the UK where the game is seeing success, Malaysian Genting Group has also offered the game to their users along with Bookmaker NordicBet.

The development of internet communications, faster more powerful computers and faster network speeds has played a major role in the growth of live dealer hosted online games.

Bricks and mortar casinos will always be difficult to replicate, however, games like Dream Catcher Lucky Wheel live go a long way to bringing that casino experience to the casual player.

And this fills a gap in the market where those who don’t necessarily like the traditional table games, can now take part in the live dealer experience.

With online casinos looking to expand player choice all the time, Evolution Gaming’s Dream Catcher looks like it may have hit the market at just the right time.
