- The advert celebrates Mansion’s rebranding and re-launch of website Casino.com
- Launched Monday 24th July on selected UK Sky TV Channels
Mansion’s casino brand Casino.com was rebranded in March this year and is now being launched with a UK TV advertising campaign designed at uniting online casino players from all walks of life in a bid to be ‘thrilled’.
In a unique idea, the new Casino.com advert features employees from Mansion Group with the company’s Casino Manager, Chris Mousdell playing the part of the live dealer.
Everyone is welcome
The advert is a nice atmospheric video with the basis surrounding people belonging in an environment that is exciting, unique and in a fun party atmosphere.
Mansion’s Managing Director Shelly Suter-Hadad said “The concept is the Casino.com party, and everyone’s invited.”
That message certainly comes across as the video has no hint of ‘exclusivity’ or ‘VIP’ to it which was an intentional move from Mansion as the message ‘all walks of life’ plays a key role in how casino.com wants to be portrayed to the market.
Brand new Casino.com
Mansion acquired Casino.com in 2007 and turned it into a full online casino games site from a marketing domain and made it available in 39 countries.
In early Spring of this year, Mansion gave its flagship brand a makeover offering players a new streamlined version of the site.
The operator wanted to maximise their ‘enviable domain’ and enhance their online gaming offerings to their players.
Despite the new site gaining an updated logo, the offering to players remained largely unchanged. However, it is believed the new advert will boost interest to new players.
The advert signs off by offering new players 20 free spins (which is hardly the most enticing offer we have come across) and aims to direct traffic to the casino.com website.
However, incase you manage to forget one of the most recognisable domain names on the internet, the TV advert will be supported by a host of London taxi cabs running branded adverts around the capital.
The new advert is a nice attempt and professionally produced, however, the hook of 20 free spins appears a little weak and the advert does have a sense of ‘seen it before’.
That said, Casino.com is one of the oldest online casino sites and does offer attractive casino and slot games, whether this is enough for the casual player to be drawn in remains to be seen.
