- If she accepts the offer, she would reportedly live there for one year and be paid $500,000 per show
- Mariah Carey, Garth Brooks, and Britney Spears are just some that have performed at top Las Vegas hotels
Adele, a huge global star who has won 15 Grammys and produced three number-one albums, is reported to have been offered a residence worth £20 million at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. If she accepts this proposition, she would reportedly reside in the hotel for a year and be paid $500,000 per show.
According to the Mail Online, a source said that most of the high-end hotels along the Las Vegas strip enjoy the status that accompanies saying they’ve had a huge star as one of their guests. For example, Mariah Carey has stayed at the Caesars Palace, Britney Spears has lived at Planet Hollywood and now, if reports are true, The Wynn hotel wants Adele.
Adele is a professional
The British-born star was forced to pull out of a number of concerts during her last tour due to her vocal chord having become damaged. The decision left thousands of fans who had planned to see her perform at Wembley Stadium devastated.
At the time, she tweeted: “I’m so desperate to do [the shows] that I’ve even considered miming, just to be in front of you and be with you.”
However, representatives from The Wynn are reported to have added that they are not concerned about any additional damage or cancellations. “Adele is a professional,” they said, and she knows her limits.
Highest paid Vegas resident ever
If Adele says yes, she would become the highest-paid Vegas resident ever. At present, Celine Dion is thought to hold this title, having earned $476,000 per show during her stint at the Caesar’s Palace following her 2011 residency.
Among other high earners include Garth Brooks, who was paid $100 million for his 2009 Wynn residency. He finished his stint early, however, to care for his family.
